Revitalization efforts at the center have introduced updated exterior features, additional and improved parking, and better pedestrian connections. In addition, we have enhanced storefront walkways throughout most of the center. Nordstrom Rack replaced the closed movie theater. The southwest corner of the property is now home to Verizon, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse and Mendocino Farms. New shops and eateries stores such as Drybar, The Melt, Snooze, Philz Coffee and others will be opening in early 2017.
The Shops at La Jolla Village was originally built in 1979 and was later renovated in 1990. No significant improvements have occurred since that time with the exception of a few minor cosmetic changes. The center’s revitalization over the past year or so has been in response to the needs and desires of our guests.
